Underwater scale changes quickly. A diver can become a small mark beside a school of sardines, a reef opening can read like architecture, and a turtle can move through blue water without a fixed horizon.
These three photographs are edited around that instability. The sequence moves from density toward opening, using bodies and light as temporary measures inside a larger living environment.
