Weather and Distance treats separation as part of the photograph: figures, mountains, roads and cities are held apart by scale, viewpoint and atmosphere rather than pulled together by spectacle.

This edit moves away from the panoramic certainty often associated with landscape photography. Mountains remain far away; roads and windows interrupt the view; weather obscures as often as it reveals.

Human figures are small and frequently separated from the landscape. The sequence keeps that distance visible, allowing atmosphere, viewpoint and empty space to remain part of the subject rather than obstacles to it.
