Coast and Colony
Coast and Colony brings seabird colonies, cliffs, viewing rails and coastal routes into the same frame. Human figures appear as observers or small measures inside a larger ecological and built edge.

Along the coast, people arrive to look at birds, cliffs and weather. The project keeps that act of looking inside the frame. Railings, paths and small human figures remain visible alongside the colony, making the coast both habitat and observation point.
The photographs do not isolate wildlife from the structures around it. Instead, they hold animals, visitors and the built edge in the same field, using scale and distance to describe how the place is shared.
